Considering the substantial down payments, New York City is one of the places where renting can be a better financial move than buying. This was certainly the case for us when we moved to NYC. And now, we’re starting to think that there are occasions where this theory also applies to cocktail dresses. We’re talking about Rent the Runway.
Bethany, our dear friend (and author of must-read blog, B Soup), was way ahead of us on this one. So much so, that she’s won Rent the Runway’s Style Award twice. Once in Tibi’s Calla Lily Cap Sleeve Dress and again in Bryan Reyes’ Watercolor Wonder Dress:

As you can see, we need your help! We’ve got to reserve one of these stunners this week, so please let us know which one you think we should go with!
Much more importantly – If you are near Raleigh, NC, you can purchase tickets to the Spring Soiree here. Not nearby? No problem. Here’s how you can still get involved with Students of AMF.

Oh, I love the Prabal! I don’t think it’s too fakey-dressy-uppy at all, only of you put it next to SJP will people maybe raise a eyebrow. Really,I think it’s lovely! Plus, you’ll look stunning in it.
But, if you decide against it, I like the lilac lace shift a lot too. Very spring-y.
Prabal! I mean, go big or go home! can you imagine the compliments??
Prabal, for sure!
The Prabal has been rented! Thank you, ladies!!
