Rarely are things black and white – in life and in our wardrobe. But we like to surprise you every once in a while, so here’s our take on it:
|
| Shopping Guide: Ray Ban Original Wayfarer Sunglasses from Pacific Sunwear Flower and Jewel Drop Earrings from Asos Gingham Button down from J. Crew (old, but similar style at American Apparel) Polka Dot Skirt from J. Crew (old, but similar style on sale at Stylebop) Balenciaga Classic First Tote (back in stock!!) from Neiman Marcus Bruno Premi Wedges from Yoox Essie Turquoise and Caicos Nail Polish on toes |
Did you notice we even limited ourselves to one accessory? Yes, we chose the largest ones possible, though. We wouldn’t want you to think we’ve gone off the reservation and become minimalists or something crazy like that!
Watch out, NYC. There’s a Balenciaga swingin’ woman on the loose! And her little dog too.

Love it! I’m digging polka dots this year in my decor. You and Gwynnie would go perfect with my front porch polka dot pots!
The accessories and bag (well, the bag really is an accessory too, right?) are perfect!
Watch out NY …
Linda
Linda, we’re really digging the porch idea. In fact, when can we move in??

Loving the mix of two of my favorite prints, classic with pizzazz!
Thanks, Pam! Hope you are having an awesome Tuesday! Loved your summer bucket list, BTW!

Love the pattern mixing! BTW-I copied one of your outfit ideas this week. I paired my floral skirt with a striped tee, and I loved the look. I did get some strange looks from people at church though. Oh well. I am dressing for me not them!
Hi Susan! Love that you paired floral and stripes! We bet the long looks at church were people trying to figure out how they could copy you with what they had in their closets!!
Have an awesome Tuesday!

Love, love that skirt! I also think it would look great with a bright pink top (I am sure you own one……or ten) and your black faux Jimmy Choos with the gold heel. Then you could make a belt out of the leftover leather from your chair and……….
YES! Definitely going to pair the skirt with the DIY Choo-inspired wedges! Brilliant idea!

Lovely outfit and i love the combination with the pink.
I just found your blog and i loved reading what you did with your appartment, you have so many lovely ideas. I live in a small space also in Amsterdam(the Netherlands) and going to live together with my boyfriend in Rotterdam next year. So i have to choose what to take with me and what not and find space in his appartment for my stuff.
Thanks for the inspiration and the good tips.
Hugs
Maria
Hi Maria! Thanks so much! So glad to hear from you, and thrilled that you might find some ideas for small space living on our blog! We were in your shoes a year and a half ago, and know what you are going through! It’s so hard deciding what goes versus what stays! Good luck! Please let us know how the move goes!

Thanks, Niki! Just checked out your blog, and LOVE what you’ve got going on! The Essie Boat House nail polish color isn’t one I (or Gwyneth) had seen before, and those Smores cups look amazing! So glad you found us – we are your newest followers!
