We write about DIY-ing, home decorating, shopping in our closet and (once in a while) cooking. But what this blog is really about is sharing ways to turn the not-so-great into something you love. Sometimes it’s the big stuff (like our move to NYC), and sometimes it’s the small stuff (like our pink door makeover or our Dumpster Dive nightstand re-do). And in today’s case it’s the really, really small stuff – how to turn a bad hair day around.
We saw this Bow Bun tutorial on one of our favorite blogs, Running on Happiness and bookmarked it immediately – you never know when your hair’s gonna go AWOL! Sure enough, one day mine did, so Gwyneth and I decided to pair the bow bun with a peplum and make a fast U-turn on what could have been a quick trip to Uglytown.
