We don’t have many solids or grey pieces in our closet, but Gwyneth and added this Helmut Lang dress last year. It’s important to be prepared for the days you might need to dress like a grown up, and the asymmetrical neckline and gathered waist gave it the necessary oomph to make its way into our cart.
In other news, we’ve changed things up recently in the beauty department. As you can see from these photos, I got bangs. The jury’s still out on if they’ll stay. What you can’t see from the photos above is the completely ridiculous, yet totally necessary beauty treatment known as eyelash extensions. Lifebooker had an insane deal, so we decided to go for it.
Here’s how they turned out. (Apologies for the horrible iPhone self-portrait, and thank you to Instagram filter for making my pores disappear.)
That’s no mascara, people. They look exactly like that when Gwyneth wakes me up at 5am to go for a walk. The rest of the face, however, does not.

Wow! Totally new look – neutrals AND bangs! I like the look of both. Keep us posted on how the eyelashes work out — I have thought about doing that but didn’t know if they would get crazy – I tend to sleep face down. And..what IS your mother’s towel technique? Inquiring minds…
Thank you! So far, so good on the eyelashes! The towel trick is simple – basically, I have seen my Mom move just about any piece of furniture by herself by wedging a towel underneath it and dragging it along the hardwood floor to a new location. It’s pretty brilliant!

So pretty I had pinned this outfit when I saw the post come up so elegant I mean you look stunning but today I am reading it- love the bangs and your eyelashes are beautiful I have such sensative allergy eyes those are never for me unfortunatlely cause I would love to not have to put on mascara
Me again I was back reading catching up and I realized something not that you need to look younger you are so youthful and beautiful already but the bangs make you look younger and chic I mean high end model chic least that is what popped into my mind.
