  1. Dear Meredith – You look great! Do you feel like you left winter and moved to summer? I hope you have read my comments (on random posts unfortunately because of my dog’s surgery I was always a few days behind) and know I have been thinking of you and Gywneth. Glad you are safely home and enjoying the holidays with your sweet family.

    • Meredith & Gwyneth says:

Hi JTC! Thank you! It is definitely a different climate down here, and it’s an improvement! It was 66 the other day! We HAVE read your comments (slowly but surely responding to them now that we’re back online!). You have been such an amazing source of encouragement – we couldn’t have made it down here without you! We are so sorry to hear of your pooch’s surgery! Can we please send some of Gwyneth’s homemade dog treats to help with a speedy recovery? If so, please email us your mailing address at hi@meredithandthenewyorkie.com!

      xoxo,
      mk & Gwynnie

  2. Matllda Joyce says:

Love the red and pink color combo! SO pretty… and pinning your maxi into a mini is sheer genius!

    • Meredith & Gwyneth says:

Thank you, Matilda! It’s our version of Christmas colors! And love when one skirt becomes two, right?

  3. so many pretty gold accessories. what do your neighbors think of your outfit photo shoots? :)

    • Meredith & Gwyneth says:

Yes! We want all of those gold bracelets!
So far no neighbor spottings while shooting, but it’s only a matter of time. They’ll probably be like, “WHY is she wearing sequins from head to toe, and WHY is she taking pictures of herslef?!?” HA!

      xoxo,

  4. Gerry Ralston says:

    Hi Meredith,
I’m so happy that you see that light in the tunnel, and know it is not an oncoming train.
Its a flashlight. For your new life.
It’s time to see NC in a whole new way. Not ‘back’ to NC, but ‘on’ to NC.
    So.
We know about your great, fun, adventurous story to the big city.
We know about the swoonie stuff in your ‘fabbie’ closet. To die for!
We know about the street finds, how they lucked out, and were chosen to live in your palace of wonder.
But, what we don’t know is …little Gwynnies story.
How did she find the best mom?

    • Meredith & Gwyneth says:

Hi Gerry! What a sweet comment – thank you!

Yes, we are “making it work” in NC, and having a great time so far! Can’t wait to get through all these boxes!
Love your request about Gwynnie’s story! In fact, Miss G has a birthday coming up in a couple of weeks, and we are going to celebrate by sharing her story on the blog! It’s a good one! Can’t tell you how many times I look at her and think about how lucky I was to find her! Thank you for the awesome suggestion! We’ll share soon!

      xoxo,
      mk & Gwynnie
