{Shop} Spring Forward Footwear

When we moved to San Francisco, no one told us about monsoon season. It’s been raining all week, y’all. And after five straight days of wearing nothing but my Hunter boots, yesterday I actually pulled out a pair of black suede Jimmy Choo pumps with a 5″ heel (available here) and wore them in the apartment all day long – with running shorts, an enormous UNC sweatshirt and a turquoise knit pom-pom beanie, of course. At one point there was an avocado face mask involved. (So perhaps it’s best I’ve been quarantined.)

When I haven’t been dressing like a lunatic, Gwyneth and I have been scouring the interweb, looking forward longingly at our favorite Spring footwear styles, suited for sunnier days. Here are our favorite steals under $100, investments under $250 and splurges that well, they’ll set you back a few bones. We’d like to add all of these beauties to our shoe closet, but if we have to pick two, we think the $85 Nine West Yellow Peep-Toe Wedges are a no brainer and the Prada Asymmetric Leather Slingback Sandals are an investment we’d get a lot of mileage out of. Which are your favorites?

  1. My favorites are #3 and #5 in the under $100 category. And #3 in the over $250 category.

And it is winter storm season back here on the East Coast! Ugh! Can’t wait to wear some spring shoes someday!
